Quran

The Quran, revealed over 1400 years ago, contains descriptions of natural phenomena that were only discovered much later through modern science.

Embryonic Development

In Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:12-14), the Quran describes the stages of human embryonic development, from a "drop of fluid" to a "clinging clot" and then into "bones and flesh."

These stages closely resemble modern descriptions in embryology, which were not known to scientists until the 20th century.

The Expanding Universe

The Quran mentions in Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51:47) that the universe is expanding: "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander."

The theory of an expanding universe was only confirmed in the 20th century through observations by astronomers like Edwin Hubble.

Mountains as Stabilizers

The Quran says that mountains act as "pegs" or stabilizers for the Earth in Surah An-Naba (78:6-7). Modern geology has shown that mountains have deep roots beneath the Earth's surface, anchoring tectonic plates.
